Surfing the Internet, trying out new software then removing it, and just regular PC use are all reasons for our registry to become filled with data. How dangerous is the problem? Possibly not as bad as software creators would like us to believe. When should you use a registry cleaner? Which one should you use?

When do you need a registry cleaner?

After prolonged use on your computer there are bound to be errors in your system registry that are slowing things down. A bad situation, you may be experiencing crashes quite often while attempting to start applicaitons, or perform certain actions in Windows.

Does this sound like you? then it’s worth the time running a complete scan of your system registry files. The worst thing that could happen is the program will not] locate anything wrong. If that occurs you might have to dig deeper to find the problem.

Something to remember about these programs is they often find so called errors in your registry that aren’t all that dangerous.

Each day when using your computer information is added and removed from your registry. When you perform similar actions each day you will discover the same items keep popping up again and again during a registry scan. These aren’t anything to be concerned with, and if your registry repair software allows it you can tell it to ignore these items all together.

Which registry cleaner should you use?

There are likely over a hundred different programs to choose from. Some well known, while others not so much. One of the more popular choices is RegCure, a registry repair tool developed by Parasoft Inc. a software developer in Canada. RegCure has provided wonderful results for thousands of users, although a point to keep in mind is what I talked about above. RegCure will continue to find some items over and over again. These items are generally not registry entries to be concerned about, or are they causing any major performance loss on your PC.
