For those of you that don’t already know there are anti spam solutions available. Spammers have come a long way over the past years finding new ways to invade our privacy and our computers. This is why we always have to be one step ahead of them.
The biggest of all the Anti Spam Solutions would be to never enter your personal information in any unprotected online sites; this is an invite for someone to steal your personal identity, as well as your email and passwords. It is extremely important that if you have any children in your house hold that use the computer also understand the consequences if they were to give out personal information.
There are times that even the best of anti spam solutions can’t help you. Like in cases where you click on a sight and get a pop up, and oh no your computer now has a Trojan virus just by clicking a link. Spammers collect the information from these Trojan viruses to send you pop ups, and track sites you have visited. At this point you would have to completely redo your computer. There are steps that you could take to prevent this from happening.
The first step you can take to prevent yourself from getting a virus from a spammer is to go to your web browser page and adjust your internet settings under the tools section. The higher it is set at, the more difficult it will be to run across these types of sites. However you may also find that it is difficult to enter sites that require you to be an adult. You should also consider purchasing good antivirus software.
Most emails have a built in Email Spam Blocker. What these blockers do is work off keywords that spammers use often and send the email directly to a separate box specifically for junk mail. This frees up your inbox for legitimate emails, and if you don’t want to there is no reason for you to ever have to open the junk mail.
In some cases you will find that the update versions offered by your email company also have a little button located inside your email called spam. This is for the reason that incase junk mail happens to sneak by them you can mark it as Spam Mail Blockers. What this does is automatically sends further emails from this person to your junk mail box by notifying the company it is spam.
