There is nothing worse then having a slow computer. In fact I would rather be infected with a virus then have my computer running at a snail pace. At least then I could still unplug my internet and type a few papers without having to wait 20 minutes for word to open and ever time I type a word wait a few seconds for the program to ketch up to me.
There are many reasons for computers slowing down but a very big one is your registry. Think of this as your library for all your files. It tells the computer were things are located and how things work with the operating system. Over time these entries get a little out of whack and need to be straitened out. The best way to do this is to use a vista Registry program. The problem with most of these programs is they do not seem to work well. Too many people buy a super cheap program or use a free type of registry cleaning program and all the sudden they can’t even boot up anymore. Your registry is very important so you need to choose the right kind registry cleaning software. Here is a link to one that works for vista and XP. It is the same program we use out in the field to do a registry cleaning on a clients computer. Head over to Vista Registry cleaning.
The other main culprit is too many program’s that auto start. This one can be very bad for people who’s computer is over a year and they never did a computer tune-up on. You need to stop all those startup programs. We do not advise people to do this themselves because everyone has different programs and some need to start wile others do not. The best overall way to speed up your slow computer is to have a pro do it for you. Places like this Computer Slow site do tune-ups over the net for you for only 89 bucks. They can also let you know about any other issues your computer is having and help resolve them. In fact they will even walk you thorough installing memory over the phone if you need more memory. These guys are one of the best computer repair companies hands down so check them out if your computer is slow or if you ever get infected with a virus. The price is far cheaper then calling someone out or even taking your computer to a computer repair shop.
