I need a job. I hate being home all day, granted the job of mom is great, but I am sick of it . I may go out of my mind. I need to have an adult life more than escaping to the stores in the evening. It won’t hurt my kids to be in a daycare for a few hours a day and I will be a better mother because of it. I’ll have the excitement of coming back to see them to make me more interested in spending time with them. Now I have that part figured out . Now it’s been quite a few years since I have worked and I am not sure I know how to do anything anymore. It’s very rewarding raising kids but not very taxing on the brain cells; maybe I’ve lost some of them from lack of use. So I’ve been researching on monster.com, careerbuilder.com and craigslist.com. I’ve noticed a trend of easy money jobs that are all obviously a hoax, I may have lost a few brain cells while away from real work, but I am not stupid . They have a lot of sales commission jobs, not my idea of enjoyable. Surprisingly I found a data entry job for a Data Storage Device company. This seems like something I can do. I’m going to send my resume and beg them for a job. Yeah I know not to sound too desperate but I am.
My business is a jewelry store, and I have to admit I love it . We have everything available from cheaper silver pieces to the high end diamonds plus we can order in or custom make whatever a person feels like, as long as they’re willing to dish out the money for a custom piece. I am having a few issues with my business though, I am not organized enough to keep track of my inventory . Every time we get new pieces they have to be hand recorded in log sheets. I know this is archaic but we were a start up company and not one person had any idea on how to deal with computers . The way things are going though, we are going to have to come up with a new system . I understand that there are various technical Online Data Backup programs (or whatever it’s called) out there though. I think they can put all the pieces into a system so we can keep track of everything. I have weighed my options and brought it down to two, I can either get a program and have myself and my employees do the work or I can hire a Data Backup company to do it for me . I have to figure out which one is worth our while. The online company is a small monthly fee. The program for us to do it ourselves is a substantial price and we’ll have to put in many hours learning how to use it, but in the long run we will save money. After weighing both options I realized that we did not have the computer savy knowledge to deal with such a task and would probably end up going with an online company anyways so to save us all time and money I decided to outsource the work and found a reputable %KEYWORCAP2% company downtown .

Yesterday was like any other day. Then there was a line there. Computer was down. Should have known. The long line made me think about my work and Disaster Recovery.
